Archetype Entertainment announces co-development partnership with EB Studio

Malmö, Sweden - Highly anticipated Sci-Fi Action Adventure RPG IP, EXODUS, is an exciting addition to the roster of AAA titles being developed in Malmö, Sweden, as Archetype Entertainment announces its co-development partnership with EB Studio.

In early December 2023, EXODUS was introduced on stage at The Game Awards with an awe-inspiring cinematic trailer that gave fans a first look at the game’s cinematic storytelling. On the heels of that auspicious announcement, EXODUS quickly became one of the industry’s most anticipated titles based on the unique positioning of the game and the developers leading the Archetype studio, many of whom hail from AAA game development studios including BioWare, Naughty Dog, 343 Industries and others. The anticipation was only amplified a month later when Archetype Entertainment announced its licensing partnership with renowned Sci-Fi author Peter F. Hamilton. Today, Archetype Entertainment is revealing that EB Studio, a well-respected Swedish co-development studio with expertise in creating immersive game environments, is one of the co-development partners responsible for bringing the world of EXODUS to life.

Origins that were founded in the world of architecture have positioned EB Studio as a creative powerhouse where you can still find professional architects working alongside game developers. Commenting on this unique niche, Johan Borg, COO and co-founder of the studio, said, “The company’s history in architecture, and our ability to inspire each other across the two fields, has given us a real edge as a game development studio.
